New year, new unbeaten adventures

While big parts of Europe are back in the next Covid-19 lockdown and the cases are still rising in other parts of the world, there is light at the end of the tunnel. The vaccination has started around last Christmas just before we moved to 2021. This light at the end of the tunnel lets me believe you can go on mountain bike holidays again tis year. And I can go back to mountain bike guiding this year, either in spring, summer and/or autumn.

Looking back at 2020

Early on in this pandemic I decide I wouldn’t open in 2020, because it didn’t make any sense to me. You can read more about that here. I have been lucky or smart enough that I have another passion DESIGN, kept me and my family going through 2020, but I came to live in the Pyrenees to enjoy mountain bike guiding not just designing. Design work means spending the majority of the time behind a computer screen. I can’t wait to restore the balance between riding & designing and jump

More unbeaten adventures in 2021

I launched my new website and new offerings March last year 2 days after the first confinement in Spain started, I am not going to change my offerings much and I am still very happy with the website.

In 2021 I want to make mountain biking with Unbeaten Adventures more adventurous. I feel we as a mountain bike community have been too much focused on convenience, with bike shuttles being the main transport to get us to the top of a hill or a mountain. It is time that mountain biking becomes more adventurous again. I want to live up to my company name. Using one shuttle to get us in the back country and have an epic bike adventure back to Ainsa. Or have a big day out on the bike from Usana (Unbeaten HQ) and experience Zona Zeroin all its glory. Cycling in remote areas and not seeing other bikers. Maybe we end the day with an Aragones BBQ and a Tronzadora Beer in an abandoned hermitage. What do you think?

I have used 2020 to explore new trails and new routes and I can’t wait to take you on an adventure. See you all in 2021

Got excited?
