New guiding services, new webdesign, & updated identity.

Shall I go ONLINE with my new website or NOT? F*^k it let’s do it.

So I was really excited about the new Unbeaten Adventures website and all the new things we developed for the upcoming guiding season(s). And then Covid-19 happened. Due to the corona virus the the world came to a standstill. Spain went in to a lockdown and it is now forbidden to ride my mountain bike. And the outdoor industry is going to have a massive crisis, just like the rest of the world. But I am releasing my new website anyway. Why?

First of all because I am proud of the result after the amount of thinking, designing and work I put into it. Second because it might inspire you to keep on doing what you love.I might have to adapt my guiding service to the world post virus, because the mountain bike & tourism industry is going to change bit time.

For now the mountains and its trails will not go away and they are here for you to enjoy in the near future.

Welcome

But for now…….. Welcome to our new website. I invite you to have a look around. Did you discover everything? The previous website wasn’t that old. I designed and build it in the summer of 2018, but a lot has changed since then. I think change is natural when you start a new business.

It takes time to find my spot in the mountain bike business in the Spanish Pyrenees and it takes time to learn what I really want and how I can add value. Now after more then 1,5 years of trying things out, making mistakes & learn from those mistakes, finding out what works etc. I can deliver a set of guiding services for you the mountain bike enthusiast that wants to enjoy one or more days of guided mountain biking in Ainsa or in the Benasque Valley. Yes you read it correctly I am adding another valley to the my guiding territory. More about Benasque in a following blog.

I also learned more about webdesign and the flow in websites since the summer of 2018. Since then we designed and built more and more websites with our design agency. I wanted to use my learnings about webdesign in a the new Unbeaten Adventures website.

While we were working on this project, we thought to also update our identity. I kept the logo the same, but I changed the colours. I came up with a colour palette that better fits the brand, is clear and has more expresion.

What do you see when you visit the new website?

Initially the look and feel of the homepage is similar to the previous one, but the one pager is shorter. Now you immediately find the 3 main guiding services you can choose from. Trail, Enduro & Backcountry. Clicking on them will get you to a specific page for that service with all the information you need for you to book the day(s) of guided mountain biking that fits you best.

Our short menu is now visible at the top right corner of the screen, where we added an “About” tab, with more information Unbeaten, Ainsa and Zona Zero.

Further more throughout the website you find a stamp like button that invites you to something entirely new. The Saturday Group Rides. You don’t find it in the menu, but by clicking on the stamp you come to a booking page for the Saturday Group Rides. This page has all the info you need to have a great day on the mountain bike with a group of likeminded riders. I hope I will see you there!

The rental bikes page has the same set up as the group ride page. I am aiming to create a small fleet of quality bikes in the future. We keep the amount of bikes low because I am a guiding business first and the rental bikes are an extra service.

See you on the trails after Covid-19! The mountains will wait.
